Welcome

The Fauquier Historical Society has over 300 members dedicated to preserving Fauquier County's rich history.  The organization provides historic markers, educational programs, and information to guide visitors during their stay in Warrenton; including a walking tour of the Town of Warrenton's historic district. 

The Old Jail Museum, located in the heart of downtown Warrenton, is the home of the Fauquier Historical Society.
