Warrenton is a short drive into the countryside — about 45 minutes from Northern Virginia and Washington D.C.

Museum Admission - Adults $6; Military & Seniors $4; Students (w/ID) $2; Children 6 and over $2; Children under 6 free; Museum Members - free. The Fauquier History Museum is a member of Virginia’s 250th Passport Program.

Museum Hours -

11 AM - 4 PM Wednesday through Monday.

The museum is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, Easter, Fourth of July, and Labor Day. During winter months the museum is closed when Fauquier County schools are closed.

Location - the museum is located at 10 Ashby Street in Old Town Warrenton, next to the Fauquier County courthouse.

Parking is available on Main Street, in the Municipal Parking Lot, one block away, or in lots located behind the shops on Main Street.

The museum is not handicapped accessible.
